Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE)

Colonoscopy is a procedure to examine the lining of rectum and colon, also called large intestine. Examination comprises of passage of flexible lighted tube then with a tiny camera into the anus. The tube is gently advanced into the rectum and colon. Colonoscopy helps in diagnosis of cancer, infection and inflammatory disorders of the large intestine. You will be given medication for sedation to help you relax during the examination.
